Ciara: I Wish...

they wished happened in 2005. Read the full transcript from our
interviews with Ciara and the Ying Yang Twins.
VIBE: Complete this sentence: This year, I wish...
Ciara: That all the people who experienced
and suffered from the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina are able to
come together as a unified force under such difficult
circumstances to not only support one another, but to also make
the city stronger and better than it has ever been.
What songs do you wish you had written this year? Or wish you
had produced or worked on?
Gwen Stefani's "Holla Back Girl" (wrote &
produce), Kanye West’s "Gold Digger" (wrote & produce), Mariah
Carey’s "Shake It Off" (wrote & produce), Mariah Carey’s "We
Belong Together" (wrote & produce), and "Like You" (wrote).
Which concerts do you wish you had attended this year?
Destiny's Child, since it was their last
tour.
What other musical skills do you wish you had?
I wish I knew how to make beats and play
the piano.
What are the outfits and/or hairdos you wished you had not
sported this year? Where and when?
I wish I didn't wear the outfit or had the
hairdo that I wore to the BET Awards on the red carpet. There
was too much going on. I also wish I didn’t wear the fur coat to
the past Billboard Awards. It was not me and there was a lot
going on. I was also out of season at the time!
What relationship skills do you wish you were better at?
I wish I could be more organized. I'm all
over the place at times.
Which celebrity's party do you wish you had attended this year?
Or wish you had not attended?
I'm not a party person, but if there were
an event that I could have attended this year it would have been
Oprah's “Legends” brunch and the White Tie Ball.
What song were you hoping to hear a remix for this year?
I wish I had the opportunity to do a remix
for my song, "Oh."
Which track do you wish you were on this year?
Gwen Stefani's "Holla Back Girl."
What T.V. show do you wish you had a role in this year?
To be honest, I haven't had the
opportunity to follow any shows this past year. But if there was
ANY show that I could have had a role overall it would have been
the "Cosby Show."

ANY episode.
Which food do you wish you hadn't tried or eaten this year?
Some form of seafood at a restaurant in
London that one of my label reps insisted that I try, but
thankfully the rest of the food was great so it made up for the
bad taste.
What question(s) do you wish people would've quickly quit asking
you this year?
How did you get started?
What do you regret buying this year?
Nothing this year. I think I've been
pretty good about saving my money.
What's some of the things that you wish you didn't do this year?
I wish I didn't stay away from home as
much.
Who do you wish that you could've vacationed with this year?
My family.
What's one movie that you wish you hadn't seen in the movies or
at all this year?
I don’t’ recall seeing a bad movie this
year.
What's one place that you wish you could've performed or toured
in?
Paris.
What's the one thing you wish to get for Christmas this year?
Love and time.
Who or what would you say made the biggest impact on your life
this year?
My fans.
What do you wish your cell phone could've done this year?
I wish my sidekick would allow me to
physically see the person I'm talking to at the time. So instead
of having to type the message and send pictures, we could see
each other and talk the same way computers allow us to.
If you were granted one wish for 2005, what would you had wished
for?
To receive a check for a trillion dollars!
